NHRA GATOR NATIONALS are scheduled for Thursday, March 15^th through Sunday, March 18^th 2007.  Tickets will be available for the races on 16^th, 17^th and 18^th of March.  Tickets will go on sale at the USO Mayport and USO NAS Jax locations beginning tomorrow, February 6^th, until sold out.  Tickets are available to all active duty and reserve personnel and their families and all civilian DoD employees and contractors and their families.

FREE SEMINARS at the USO!

The USO Center at Mayport in conjunction with the United Way and Born Learning Seminars will be offering free Born Learning seminars. 

• 45 minute interactive seminars offered free of charge
• 3 different seminars will be offered; “Learning on the Go”, “Playing the Games”, and Everyday Activities for Dads” 

These are simple, fun doable early literacy activities.  Each participant will receive a free Born Learning Kid basics tool kit.  You can go to the USO website for an overview of each workshop/seminar.

NO DOUGH DINNER

The USO at Mayport will be hosting our next No Dough Dinner on Friday, Feb 9^th starting at 5 p.m.  All military and their families are welcome.  Spouses and families of deployed personnel are also welcome to join us.  The dinner is free, so take a night off from cooking and let us do the cooking for you.
